Selfcare after heartbreak

 Don’t regret whoever leaves your life, because later on you’ll realize what their purpose was in your life.


The term “people come and go” can sound quite upsetting. Over all who would want such precious people leaving our lives right?                                                

It’s just like the term “everything has an ending.” If specific moments in our lives have an end, then so do people. That person will most likely drift away when you least expect it. Leaving you in such confusion, sadness, frustration. Blaming yourself or that person on why a connection like that just had to fade like it never meant anything.

“They promised to stay, how could I receive such false promises”

“Is there something wrong with me?”

“Was i not.. enough?”

Continuous of negative questions that will never conclude with an answer, and thoughts that lingers through your mind refusing to believe that this was the end of the story. Days, weeks, months of having depressive episodes every night as the clock hits 3. Wondering what went wrong. Wishing, praying, begging for them to come back.




But have you ever just thought that maybe. They were just to be in your life for a certain amount of time so that you can learn and grow?

People enter our lives like characters in a story. Each with a purpose, a lesson to impart, and a role to play. Once we learn the lesson, they depart from our lives.


Why can’t they teach me a lesson but also stay forever?”

I used to also ask myself the same thing. But realize that everyone goes through their own path. You go through adventures with yourself, face struggles with yourself, and so much more. Everyone that crosses your path are the ones to guide you and help you so that you can continue to go on with your self journey. We all need the support and comfort of somebody to continue on. The reason why they eventually leave is because they need to go on through their own path. Since every individual has their own different destinations to arrive to.

You may not also realize it but you too can drift away from somebody because you too taught them a lesson, and you’ve learned yours. Therefore there isn’t much of a purpose but to continue on separately.

The next time someone eventually drifts away from you, just know that there was never a problem. Don’t let anger and sadness control you. Reminisce the memories with them as well as realize the lesson you have learned that creates you to be a stronger and wiser person.

Be grateful that the both of you were in each other’s faith of crossing paths. 

everything happens for a reason so whatever happens. Just continue on with your journey in life. Always prepare a positive mindset for the sorrowful outcomes you will encounter.

Remember. Just because someone drifts away, doesn’t mean there's no possibility of them coming back. 

What’s meant for you, will always find it’s way back.
